For the record most (all?) induction cook tops have a glass surface too. Also induction ones are not that much more expensive. Here in Finland the price difference is ~50e when compared to a ceramic ("glass") one. And as for cooking experience I prefer induction. It heats up the fastest and can control the heat just fine.
