Show HN: A piano chord-switch practicing tool I made
- Aliabid94 5y agoJust a fun little tool I made during a Christmas flight. Happy Holidays!
- pimlottc 5y agoLooks interesting but I’m not sure how it’s supposed to work; at least, it does not seem to support touchscreen devices at all.
- Aliabid94 5y agoI just added mobile support, thanks for pointing that out. Basically its to help practice chord switches - you provide a list of chords and press Start and it will present a chord from that list and give you a set time to play it in. Then it plays the chord itself and you can see if you got it right.
- pimlottc 5y agoOkay, that's basically what I figured, but it's not clear how you are supposed to input the chord - does this assume you have a MIDI device connected to your computer?
- klavinski 5y agoThere are now many tools to learn chords. Here is one I made: https://chord-quiz.netlify.app/ https://chord-quiz.netlify.app/ You can connect a MIDI keyboard. It is open source: https://github.com/klavinski/chord-quiz https://github.com/klavinski/chord-quiz
