The “Happy Birthday Chip” and Beam Robots
- ChuckMcM 5y agoReading Ken Shirrif's excellent exposition on the 1980's chip that plays Christmas tunes it flashed me right back to the BEAM Robot scene (also in the 80's). People had figured out they could use a similar chip (this one sang happy birthday) to create behaviors in a very simple robot.
