- hirundo 5y agoI agree with the NYT argument that publishing such privileged material should not be subject to prior restraint. But if they improperly aquired them as alleged, they should be liable for damages and penalized after publication.
- simonblack 5y agoThose who live by the sword die by the sword. You can't support the government's policies on whistleblowing and suppression of 'unpopular' journalists like Assange and others, and then complain that the government's actions are affecting you too. Tough titties, NYT. Perhaps you should redevelop some journalistic ethics. Probably too late for you though, now.
