It would be great if people could start by defining AGI before engaging in a discussion about it. What is AGI? If I asked what fusion power is someone could do that, down to the mathematical level. At best if asked what AGI is you’ll get a vague cobbled together anthropomorphic analogies. It was Locke who said that all arguments come from a disagreement about the meaning of words. That’s exactly what’s happening with the word “AGI”. It’s pointless even talking about it if everyone can’t agree on what it means.
