I explained that poorly. I do use the website on my PC, which I log into with a password and using a two-factor authentication app on my phone, which is currently the only secure two-factor method that is well supported and this will likely continue to be the case in the future.
- omgbear 5y agoYou can get yubikey and use their software. It was great until I lost my keys with the yubikey attached. Can even write a script to read a code and put it in your clipboard. That said, I'm back to using my phone now.
- Kakashi4 5y agoThere's plenty of ways you can 2FA without a smartphone, look into security keys
