That's an insanely generous offer - they seemingly also let you split it up into 4VMs if you want. Any gotchas other than Oracle generally being icky?
I would seriously consider moving a couple small Linodes I use for work over that way. I quite like Linode, but free is compelling.
- whitepoplar 5y agoThe block storage devices are HDD, not SSD. You have to pay extra for SSD storage.
- ac29 5y agoThat is a downside, though with 24GB of memory, there are certainly use cases where most everything is going to be cached in RAM anyways.
