happy holidays... I'm not religious anymore... but a humanist... my wish and hope for the new year is to see less political divides, more coming together, and better rights for workers, less inequalities, and for us to find solutions to things like wealth inequality and housing prices, and real solutions that at least slow down global warming some... there's so much doom and gloom, and I probably spend too much time in r/collapse and similar subs but it's nice to at least sprinkle in some hope. I think we'll die fast if we rely on politicians to fix all our issues. the people here in HN are some of the brightest... I'm hoping to see more stories about people in tech starting cheaper housing initiatives or starting some sort of worker co-op that is self sufficient but also helps people have better alternatives to Amazon and Walmart and current health offerings..
