      It's not free - if everyone blocked ads and nobody paid they would have no revenue, you are just freeloading by using stuff like vanced.

        Youtube had no revenue for years, they dont NEED money magically right now. If you can freeload something from a big co just do it. Its not a morality debate

    Yeah YouTube premium is where I put my money where my is. Always said I would prefer if I could pay for content outright rather than be advertised to. Well, this is it.

  but it doesn't do it on all platforms. PC only sure. Red works on smart tvs, phones, tablets, xbox, computer.. and you get the youtube music with it. it costs me about 20 min worth of work once a month to remove ads from my primary media consumption site.. totally worth it, and don't have to mess with 3rd party BS. Completely changes the youtube experience

  Brave browser does it for free by “Enable background audio” in settings. It blocks ads by default too.
