Rust vs. Go: Why They’re Better Together
- beanjuiceII 5y agoI started with Rust, and ended up on go. Not because rust is not good, but typically I'm willing to give up what rust provides for a gc and what i feel is simpler syntax, and less language altogether. I am definitely more productive in go after my move from rust in the things I want to build. To each their own! and If i really need to dig deep into low level system language again, I might try to reach for Zig next time, but we will see how that evolves..and if not rust is always there :) its nice to have so many great choices in this space
