If I could do things over again, I would not have allowed my son to be around even vaccinated people indoors without masks. If her goal is to completely protect her son from contracting Covid, I find it surprising that she'd allow him to be in contact with any potentially infected people at all. Is it really the case that an infected person can be rendered completely safe by a typical mask? Are there studies that quantify the reduction of risk for different types of masks worn by a infected person?
