I watch most of my videos at 2x. Well, 1.75x as 2x sometimes makes it too difficult to understand someone, particularly if that person has a strong accent. I find this allows me to digest more content in less time, especially if the person is a slow speaker. If I miss something or can't grok something well enough, I'll rewind or, well, slow it down a bit for that piece. What do I not watch at 2x? Movie trailers. I want to appreciate the theatrical efforts.
