Sounds a lot like early spaced repetition effects (supermemo/anki) but without the extended repetitions?
- laserlight 5y agoMore like cramming before the exam in this case. Though, one can use rewatching as a spaced repetition session. The key would be to actively try to remember the narrative of the lecture. Otherwise, passive rewatching wouldn't help as much.
