It's even better when talk of forgiving student loans triggers the sorts that were fortunate enough to pay them off on their own to decry that as some sort of giveaway the victims of these practices don't deserve. I mean it's great to pay your way out of debt but the game is rigged exactly as you state. And I deeply wonder about the hidden costs of having so much of our population saddled with this debt. No proof but I'll bet it outweighs the cost of canceling that debt not that we'll ever know.
