The Official Emoji Brand
- inob 5y agoI am dumbfounded (or just dumb), it seems like some entity said that it is the governing body of the English language, trademarked the English alphabet, and now everyone that wants a T-shirt containing a letter of the English alphabet have to pay royalties. Is this correct, or am I missing something obvious? PS: It looks worse really since looks like the concept of emoji predates what is usually called emoji these days, so it is more like some guy said yesterday he owns letters™, just for collecting rent on everything that uses letters.
