I've done this before manually to convert an Arturia Minilab MkII into a wireless MIDI controller. Turns out there's enough space inside the Arturia to fit a Pi Zero W and a flat Lithium-Ion battery.
I can now use GarageBand on my iPad, MacBook and iPhone without always having to connect a USB-C hub or camera adapter.
- BeatQuestGames 5y agoWhat battery are you using. PI Sugar didn't work for me ? I've been trying to find a mobile handheld console to install Debain on, I'm not sure how well it would work, but it could be cool.
- alin23 5y agoAny cheap powerbank will do. The Pi Zero W never uses more than 2A of current which is within a recent powerbank possibilities. Something like this should be enough to keep it running for a few hours: https://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Slim-Ultra-Portable-Ultra-Safe-External-Lightning/dp/B00Z24G06M/ https://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Slim-Ultra-Portable-Ultra-Safe-...
- BeatQuestGames 5y agoAhh, I'm using a power bank right now and it works well. It does bother me a bit the power bank is 3x the size of the zero itself, but it works
