I used to enjoy Waffle House when I took road trips in the South. I'd trade In N' Out burger for a Waffle House in California any day.

- PopAlongKid 5y agoMy one and only (so far) meal at a Waffle House was on a road trip, it was located in Mobile, AL. In N Out burger is a fast food joint, while I'd call the WH I visted more of a diner. For example I was able to sit and eat at the counter, and there was no drive-through, which around here (SF Bay) seems to be the primary method of using In N Out.

- pmdulaney 5y agoI love me an In 'N' Out burger and those limp (but delicious!) fries, but yeah, I'm good with swapping that In 'N' Out at Lassen & Balboa that's always blocking traffic with a Waffle House. Roscoe's has traditional waffles (and my favorite, buckwheat!), but apart from them all you can seem to find are those Belgian waffles. (Sorry, the magic has worn off.)

- pmdulaney 5y agoI actually like them limp -- it's sort of like eating a baked potato with your fingers!
