Most programmers I worked with where normal people with a wife or husband, children and pets. Some of us are rather good with people. What hurts us are stupid stereotypes along the line of: - we don’t get along with people - we can’t communicate well If you think this way, and you are having problems with a programmers, it is more likely that you and your preconceptions are the problem. Don’t get me wrong, we have some odd people, but they are the minority (like in most other profession).
