I emailed Steve at Apple right after the merger.
Said what could save Apple would be a small, handheld, battery-powered device that WAS your computer, and could plug into anything and be your computer.
Today I'm happy to use a Samsung Galaxy S21 that plugs into a monitor and is my computer.
- asadlionpk 5y agoI was researching this workflow. How common is this usage of phone as PC? What kind of workload do you use it for?
- smm11 5y agoI use OneDrive for all my stuff. The computer that was tied to OneDrive no longer exists, so "the network is my computer." I am on a desktop at work as I type. I have a work laptop that hasn't left the bag I carry in months. I have no computer at home, and no tablet at home. I have a phone, an HDMI-USB/C adapter, and bluetooth keyboard/mouse. The phone is my computer.
