Your poor bank account
- jcims 5y agoEh, think of it as diversification. (until you start buying ammo anyway)
- tomschlick 5y agoDepending on the political climate, buying and sitting on large amounts of ammo for the next price surge could be a good investment.

- Rebelgecko 5y agoUnless you live somewhere that restricts your ability to resell it
- tomschlick 5y agoThankfully that legislative idiocy seems constrained to specific states.
- throaway46546 5y agoWhat the DOJ doesn't know can't hurt it.
- SV_BubbleTime 5y agoFor the record, this is what get people on illegal (whole debate on the legality of the NFA aside) machine guns and silencers. Yes, your state may have a prohibition which is a criminal action, but the feds want you for tax evasion for not paying the $200. Iirc, rapper Ti went to jail for tax evasion on his illegal guns. Another side topic how he spent 1 year in jail while the statute says it’s a 10 year crime. If you are going to break the law, be rich first.
- jcims 5y ago>and sitting on This is where I struggle. Someone needs to do an Indiana Jones scene with a box of Gold Dots instead of the golden idol.
- rpmisms 5y agoGuns depreciate very slowly, and if high-quality or unusual, they often appreciate. Not really a net worth hit.
- pvarangot 5y agoI think when I sold my 1911 it was more expensive than when I bought it, but even though I didn't use it much I had spent like at least 5 or 6 guns just on ammo and I still sucked with the thing.
- rpmisms 5y ago1911s are wonderful, but definitely not for everyone. Polarizing grip angle.
- JasonFruit 5y agoI love it until it stovepipes again.
- rpmisms 5y agoAs a Beretta lover, I felt that in my soul. John Moses Browning, we're sorry for ignoring the hi-power.
- aerostable_slug 5y agoFYI, the new Springfield Hi-Power is very cool.
- rpmisms 5y agoThere's also a printable frame for it. Really nice to see one of the coolest old guns get revived.
