No, we really shouldn't.
- charcircuit 5y agoAt least it should be done instead of thinking that you need to "add a backdoor" or "ban encryption."
- ttybird2 5y agoSounds like a backdoor to me though.
- charcircuit 5y agoA backdoor is a secret way to gain access to a system. I propose that we explicitly design our system to give them access. It wouldn't be a secret that they could get access to the information they needed under certain circumstances.
