This is probably the dumbest news piece I've seen on HN:
Bitcoin will replace the dollar Jack Dorsey said on Tuesday, in response to a tweet by rapper Cardi B.
Cardi B broadly asked if crypto would replace the U.S. currency to which Dorsey replied “Yes, Bitcoin will.”
That is basically the whole article aside from the part where our edgelord and savior musk chimed in.
- unclebucknasty 5y agoYeah, the article is...not very good. I submitted it due to the quote/tweet, not the article's journalistic prowess. But, perhaps I should've submitted the tweet directly. Moving past the article to the subject, what I find interesting is that I haven't heard much discussion WRT the real impacts on the USD or the US economy/standard-of-living if crypto continues to find success.
