Microsoft hired a marketing firm and ran focus groups just to come up with the name Windows CE. They already had the name Windows, I wonder how much those extra two letters cost them.
- garmaine 5y agoWe’ll according to the article the “CE” was NOT one of the options that came out of the focus group. Management looked at what the study reported, and then said “nah.”
