Extinction, unless we stop doing business as usual and have a major drawdown soon (although that doesn't seem likely). Or at least collapse enough that it's pretty darn close to extinction. There will be some neat technology leading up to it, though. At least the next 10-20 years. So that'll be fun. Maybe a couple new web frameworks people will get excited about.
