On point 1 - it's more accurate to say that your bank is a distributed network. You and the people you transact with depend on the network, instead of depending on a bank. But the dependency is still there and you certainly aren't your own bank.
- coolspot 5y agoMore like you’re running around with a stack of dollar bills. You can lose it all to a hack, you can put it all in a cookie jar (and accidentally throw it away).
