I grabbed my red and blue glasses because this vaguely looked like a 3D anaglyph to me, and while it's not the clearest such image, it definitely appears as a cohesive object hovering above a flat map. Further I zoom out, it definitely looks like it. Inadvertent byproduct of however this was photographed or stitched?
