Aosta Valley is a really bad place to live in: people are not friendly, food is not so good compared to other regions and job opportunities are very low
- riffraff 5y agoI guess it really depends on your tastes, I have a couple friends who moved there because they loved the mountains and nature, and got jobs pretty easily (in IT and in Healthcare). I think food is quite nice too, but obviously it's completely personal.
- mmarq 5y agoNorthern Europe, as in the place where people can’t cook, starts a few kilometres north of Modena. ;)

- bogomipz 5y agoFor food, off the top of my head there is the famous Fontina cheese, Carbonade Valdostana – a delicious beef stew, Vapelenentse soup and of course Fonduta. And for sweets there is tegole. Aosta also has great viticulture. It has Europe's highest vineyards and a wonderful indigenous grape called Prie Blanc as well as wonderful petit rouge is grown there. Aosta wines are often spectacular and worth seeking out. Besides this there is amazing scenery and great skiing close by.
