Wow, that's quite the valuation. I'm not surprised though. There's a ton of hype for the 'metaverse', and for my money rec room is the most impressive example of it out there. It's fun to customize your own room, and there's a TON of really cool user generated space. Like any social media platform, any 'metaverse' will succeed or die based on its adoption and network effects, and Rec Room seems to be far in the lead. Wonder if FB tried to buy them already...
