- ryzvonusef 5y agoAs a Pakistani, not part of the privileged society with their own security, it's extremely difficult to express anything, when you not only have to stay away from multitudes of "sensitive" topics, but also keep a healthy buffer from said topics, so as to not even mistakenly be associated with said topic. Problem of course is...those buffers solidify and become part of the sensitive topic, so you need to soon make a newer buffer to be even further away....a point comes, when the buffers extend so far that they box you in... and then it's safer to not speak at all. ---- It's cancel culture gone rogue
