What a ridiculous comment. You could dismiss any act of goodness with that logic. “We built a shelter for homeless people and are feeding and clothing them.”

“We built a shelter for homeless people and are feeding and clothing them.”
“You know, the Nazis thought they were doing good things too.”
I mean…seriously?
- pawelmurias 5y agoMy point is that a large part of the "socially involved" people I have met are often mean horrible people who are trying to show they are superior or super naive people who are willing to bend the truth. How was convincing my severely underweight friend to stop eating meat a good thing? Do they really think someone who looks like a fashion model (from the super skinny era) need less protein?
- sweetheart 5y agoI responded in more detail to another one of your comments here, but I'll address this one as well: Not eating animals !== not getting protein. Mere minutes of searching for information on the subject will show that. You're simply being lazy by holding onto such an outdated notion. I'm sorry your friends suffer from eating disorders (seriously, I am. I know some people are as well and it's painful), but don't blame veganism. The millions of healthy, strong, active vegans around the world are proof enough. Some basic research on the subject should cover the rest of your doubts.
