Huh. I have fish balls in white sauce with potatoes on the side all the time. Sprinkled with some curry. One of my favorite dishes. But after thinking about it I think I understand. I would never eat one fish ball on it’s own. That sounds disgusting. On the other hand, a butter sautéed fish cake is delicious. And a fish cake is more or less the same as a fish ball, just a bit different shape.
