Also, they do not recognize Norway as part of EU and do not give Norwegians the choice to opt out. I have not checked since 2020 though.

  Norway is not part of EU. Perhaps you meant something different?

    Yes of course, Norway is not a full member of the EU, but through the EØS agreement, GDPR also apply for Norway
