You should look into Shamir’s key sharing algorithm, where you can break a private key into N parts, M of which need to be recovered to restore the key. Projects like Argent, I believe, tried to accomplish this in a user-friendly app (you chose a bunch of locations to put the shards like the cloud or your friends). It’s technically possible, but it becomes a social problem more than a mathematical problem.
