It looks like surprise medical bills like an out of network anesthesiologist at an in-network facility will be gone starting next month. In fact, it looks like providers will have to give good faith estimates starting next month. This sounds too good to be true! Is this real or are there exceptions and fine print to this law? There must have been major lobbying to water this down. I have a procedure that I will wait till after new year if this is real.
