Didn’t you see the stories last year about states like NJ scrambling to hire COBOL contractors to maintain legacy software?
- exdsq 5y agoYes! This stems from another HN thread where I found out COBOL 2014 is fully OO with features like recursion. Hence asking about modern COBOL, as opposed to legacy 40 year old code.
