  My angle is that you shouldn't throw stones, especially while living in a glass house. Saying that the OP has, quote, "eviscerated their own credibility as an engineer" without adding anything of value to the discussion (aside, possibly, from eviscerating your own credibility as an engineer; not that it matters) was uncalled for.

  Please don't cross into personal attack, regardless of how wrong or provocative other people's comments are, or you feel they are. When people get to this point in a back-and-forth, it's a clear indication that the thread should have stopped a while ago.
