I can't help but think of Linux when you say this, and Linux is strictly centrally controlled
- tgsovlerkhgsel 5y agoIs this strict control actually being exercised strictly in practice? My understanding was that e.g. individual device driver authors have a lot of leeway, and I don't know how strictly consistency is actually enforced across the board beyond basic style rules.
