This is a terrible article, I could not believe it was on front page of FT yesterday. The usual MSM scaremongering and sensationalism based on modelling by professor lockdown Ferguson - Yes the same idiot drama queen that said that 2% of everyone who caught Covid would die 2 years ago.

FWIW, looking at bare official counts, the ratio of covid deaths vs infections is between 1 and 2 percent in most regions.
