- colechristensen 5y agoThey burn quite vigorously. You get out of the car. They don’t tend to explode like in an action movie. Like any of dozens and dozens of things, they might burn down your house albeit quite rarely. People really need to start accepting that risk is never zero.
- rmetzler 5y ago> You get out of the car. Not always. Electric cars are also quite dangerous for firefighters to put the flames out (you can't use water for instance and it's even more dangerous in rain) and since they are relatively new not all firefighters know how to extinct them properly.
- jacquesm 5y agoThere is a video of a bunch of Chinese battery powered buses that go up in flames faster than that I think those buses could have been evacuated had they been in service at the time. Not an explosion, but scary fast.
