At least some are reading. But are we _thinking_? I find that there’s something about reading a book that is more ‘calm’ than reading online. I think it’s the knowledge that switching away from it is a ‘chore’. If I get distracted, I’m likely to look into space and think for a moment, then return to the page, because I can’t just reach for the address bar and start typing.
