21 Million btc? Bitcoins are divisible so if the unit is considered the smallest division, there are 2.100.000.000.000.000 units.
What happens when the last btc is mined? Well, storing and shipping gold bars is also expensive and that doesn't make gold worthless
- mattwilsonn888 5y agoYou're mixing up liquidity and scarcity. PS5's are not liquid and they are not divisible. They are also not durable or easily transferable. Scarcity does not give Bitcoin value - there could be a massive Bitcoin inflation even at any moment and the value of the whole network in total would remain the same, its the security guarantees and unrelenting openness that give it value.
