  No way. What I've seen are recruiters casting wide nets, but not fighting to close any deals.

    Not sure what's happening there, but we've hired a few career starters recently and are usually fighting for midlevels. The market is crazy now. It's been candidate-driven for quite a few years but recently it's gotten even so. Hard to tell what you've experienced but please don't conclude you're worthless!
