Some subreddits were banned for such comments. Will reddit ban r/politics ? (I know the answer)
- NoGravitas 5y agoHell, /r/chapotraphouse was banned for allowing members to call for the death of 19th century slave owners. Sitewide rule enforcement on R*ddit is pretty arbitrary and at the convenience of the admins.
- oh_sigh 5y agoThat's not why chapotraphouse was banned. You can still find tons of links on shitredditsays pointing out members of that sub calling for the death of still-living people, or entire races of people. For example, see the not-very-subtly coded references to baseball, referring to the assassination of Scalise.
