Comparing a language like node to a framework like rails is like comparing a language like C++ to a database like H2 they both have different goals and use case

Comparing a language like node to a framework like rails is like comparing a language like C++ to a database like H2 they both have different goals and use cases. Sure you can build a database like H2 in C++ and yes doing so will take ages which I think is why most people don't do that and just use MySQL instead of reinventing the wheel. Does this mean we should switch from C++ to H2? Obviously not, what am I missing? Wouldn't a more useful comparison be something like Node vs Ruby or Rails vs Sails
