I started playing on chess.com in 2015 and my main issue was: they UI felt clunky and it seems to be deducting to much time from my clock even with premoves!!! Switched to lichess in 2017 or so and it's just way superior when it comes to UI/UX and performance specifically! I ran site performance tests for both a while ago and they numbers confirmed my subjective experience.
