It is just delaying the inevitable, though, right? The problem of a flood of fake spam content is still not too far into the future, just not going to be powered by OpenAI specifically.
- RF_Savage 5y agoMore time in the future means less today and more time to develop mitigations. And one can choose not to be one of those folks who bring forth the supposed inevitable result.
- jfoster 5y agoOnly works if the time gained is being used to work on mitigations. So, who needs to work on the mitigations & are they using the time that has been bought?
