This is a good question to which I've never known the answer. Often comes up when people are trying out some drawing app in ShowHN and want to show each other what they did.
I tried searching for ".jpg" in comments in the last month. From a very quick glance so far, I saw a few mentions of imgur, and none of anything else.

- pkdpic 5y agoAwesome, sincerely appreciate the confirmation there. It seems like an odd gap in the web ecosystem right now. If only imgur had a less tumblry UI... In a separate thread somebody not-facetiously suggested that I just make my own minimal image sharing app for personal use. Seems like a fun project. The thread didn't really take off but got some interesting input there too including to check out pixelfed which I am trying out for fun too. > https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29413374 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=29413374
