Workers Not Taking Deliveries Without Tips: 'We Can Pick and Choose'
- leed25d 5y agoI wonder what happens if you place a large enough order so that the restaurant has an interest in having it filled but you select no tip. Maybe restaurants, not customers, should be responsible for paying the delivery fee.
- tapvt 5y agoRestaurants commonly pay a commission of 10-25% already. They also expend through their staffing in terms of answering numerous calls (many robocalls in the case of DoorDash), managing to-go orders, etc.
