How do you know it’s not on android?
- lordofgibbons 5y agoWho cares? Weren't talking about android right now. No need for "what about" deflections of valid criticisms
- minerva23 5y agoThat may have been simple ignorance instead of whataboutism. The person asking it may genuinely not know how much easier it is to inspect Android (both the device and the open source). They may not know you can build custom images of Android either.
- zeusly 5y agoAndroid is open source? At least you have the chance to use it like that, some tinkering required.
- treesknees 5y agoThe AOSP code is open source. The Android and related apps running on your latest Pixel 6 is not.
- najqh 5y agoThe only difference between Android and iOS in this regard is that Android's frameworks are open source. The rest is exactly the same.
- jetsetgo 5y agoThis post is about Apple; why deflect?
