The Moderna booster is only 50ug RNA.
There is a whole bunch of trials now on mixing vaccines, but of course the number of specific combinations is very large. It does look like mixing works well, and there are some indications that mixing leads to a better response, this has been observed in particular for AZ/Biontech.
I got three different vaccines, following the recommendations at the time. So at least here in Germany we do freely mix them.

- walterbell 5y ago> The Moderna booster is only 50ug RNA. Could someone take this Moderna 50ug dose as their 1st/2nd shot?
- chinathrow 5y agoAsk your doctor.
- throwaway59553 5y agoMost regular doctors have no clue about it, as it's not their specialty, they just parrot the governmental institutions official position, such as "take the vaccine". Hence the necessity of long term independent studies on the effect of each vaccine and the combinations of several vaccine, if people mix them when getting a booster.
- tim333 5y agoOn of the troubles with anything unconventional is it probably won't be recognised on the various vaccine passes and the like.
- dablweb 5y agoWouldn't mixing significantly reduce your chance at legal recourse should you have a severe reaction?
- jktogjfnn 5y agoLawsuits against who? The vaccine producers already have immunity. So that leaves you to sue the local authorities, so if they recommended mix-and-match you have cover.
